The entry package for stores that mainly need to stay current and secure: tested updates, security patches and plugin checks.
Update Package: Keep Shopware 6 Current and Secure
Your store runs fine and you do not need ongoing development, but updates should not pile up? The Update Package is made for exactly that. I keep your Shopware 6 store up to date, apply security patches promptly and check beforehand whether your plugins keep working.
Included Services
- Tested updates: patch and minor updates within your Shopware major version, tested first on your staging system or a copy of the store
- Security patches: I apply Shopware security updates promptly after they are released
- Plugin checks: before every update I check whether your plugins are compatible with the new version and install available plugin updates
- Short update log: once a month you get an email with what was updated and which risks are visible
- Up to 3 hours per month for updates, checks and small fixes that come up along the way
Not included
- Major version jumps such as 6.6 to 6.7: I plan these separately, usually with a compatibility check first.
- Further development and new features: the Standard package or work billed by effort is the better fit.
- Extra effort: if an update needs more time than included, I contact you first. Additional hours are billed only after your approval at my hourly rate of EUR 95.
Price
EUR 297 per month
If your store should stay current without you having to take care of every update yourself, get in touch. Before we start, I take one look at version, plugins and hosting so it is clear whether the package fits your store.
How I work
Three principles that apply in every project
Understand before building
First the short technical assessment: what is the actual problem, where is the lever, what makes economic sense? Then the implementation.
Build instead of forwarding
You talk to the developer who does the work – no handover chain, no black box, clear status updates and early warning about risks.
Hand over instead of holding on
Code in your repository, tests, documentation and a deployment process your team understands. No vendor lock-in – your system does not depend on me afterwards.

Good fit
Works well when...
- you have an existing Shopware system with a concrete technical issue.
- you need direct PHP/Symfony support without agency overhead.
- you expect clear analysis, clean implementation and traceable handover.
