Common questions before requesting
What kind of Shopware projects can I request you for?
You can request support for Shopware 5 and Shopware 6, including plugin development, migrations, technical maintenance, performance optimization, interfaces and further development of existing stores.
Do you work directly with merchants, agencies and recruiters?
Yes. I work directly with store owners, as a technical partner for agencies, and through recruiters or intermediaries when the scope and conditions are clear.
How quickly are you available?
I am usually available at short notice and usually reply to inquiries on the same working day, at the latest on the next one. For urgent topics, a short summary with Shopware version, problem and desired timeframe helps - then I can assess right away whether a request is a good technical and timing fit.
Can you join existing projects?
Yes. Existing Shopware projects, grown plugin landscapes and technical debt are typical situations. I first check what is already there before recommending a path forward.
Does the request need to be perfectly prepared?
No. For the first contact, Shopware version, goal or problem, desired timeframe and, if possible, a store URL are enough. We can clarify the details in a structured way afterwards.
An invoice from Cyprus – how does that work for VAT?
You receive a regular invoice from Stefan Pilz Ltd. with an EU VAT identification number, in euros. No Cypriot VAT is charged to companies outside Cyprus: within the EU, the reverse-charge mechanism applies to B2B services – you account for VAT in your own country and normally deduct it as input tax in the same step. For Switzerland and other non-EU countries, the local rules for purchased services apply. Contracts, communication and support are in German or English, remote and in your time zone.
